A close up look at the Martin D-18 '1939 Authentic'. The new Martin 'Authentics' are constructed in the custom shop the old way - with hide glue throughout and historically accurate detailing confirmed by a CAT scan machine at the Smithsonian Institute.
Meticulously based on a 1939 D-18 in the Martin museum, this guitar features genuine Mahogany back and sides, an Adirondack Spruce top and an authentic Adirondack 1939 bracing pattern. Period correct '18' style appointments and an authentic neck barrel and heel complete this stunning piece. Martin’s new Vintage Tone System (VTS) is employed for the soundboard and braces.
This is a dreadnought by which all others are judged. If you've always dreamed of having that legendary pre-war D-18 tone in your collection, this is the guitar for you. One only...$8499.
Something lovely has just arrived. This is a 1958 Gibson A-50 mandolin. It's as clean as a whistle and sounds superb. $3,750.
The 000-17 Whiskey Sunset Auditorium model is truly one of our favourite guitars to come out as of late. It has a rich, warm sunburst finish that is just plain beautiful.
Skillfully crafted from a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides with grained ivoroid binding, a modified low oval neck with a Performing Artist taper, and a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, this guitar produces beautiful dynamic tones that has us all spellbound at the shop.
