Next thing you know we're in New York City. We came to the Metropolitan Museum to see their history of American music exhibition in which Martin guitars play a big part. Martin invented the steel string guitar, the X bracing pattern, hell they even had a headstock design like Fender 150 years before they did! A big highlight was seeing Clapton's famous 1939 000-42, the very guitar he used for his Unplugged album. This album is often credited for bringing the acoustic guitar back in to vogue. What a thrill it was to see it in the flesh!

Our customer of the day is Sally Carter. Sally is a working musician who plays regular gigs. Her old acoustic just wasn't cutting it live so she came in today to check out a few guitars. She spent a good couple of hours trying out different models both acoustically and plugged in. It wasn't long before she was loving the Coke Clarks. She settled on this very sweet Redwood/Blackwood FL2EC and now it's home at her house. Beautifully done Sally - congratulations!
