by The Acoustic Centre December 17, 2014Our customer of the day yesterday was Jason Fletcher who bought this stunning Cole Clark Redwood Rosewood Angel 3. Jason was kind enough to take these incredible shots with guitar next to the remaining trees where this incredible timber came from. This guitar has certainly caused a stir in our store. The amazing part of this story is that Jason wanted to buy a great part of the history of the town he is from. The top of this guitar is from a Redwood tree that fell down recently in Ballarat among the trees in this photo. The trees were introduced from cuttings taken from California. The trees were planted in the mid 1800s during the gold rush! The man responsible for the tree planting also helped create the Melbourne Botanical gardens all those years ago. What a guitar to own with all that history and the top of this guitar came from a tree grew ten minutes from Jason's house! Congratulations Jason enjoy your amazing guitar! @coleclarkguitars #exoticwood #guitar #guitars #guitarist #guitartone #guitarshape #guitarplayers #guitartimbers #guitarbuilding #coleclark #coleclarkangel #coleclarkguitar #coleclarkguitars #australianmade #madebyhand #craftsmanship #madeinaustralia #buylocal #wow #instapic #picoftheday @coleclarkindonesia @theacousticcentre
