Speaking of Martin dreadnoughts, this is one of the best we have ever seen. Personally designed by Acoustic Centre staff in the Martin Custom Shop in Pennsylvania, this completely one-off handmade dreadnought was designed with tone in mind.
Specs include an Adirondack Spruce top with Adirondack bracing and hot hide glue construction throughout. The back and sides are 300 year-old Sinker Mahogany with a middle wedge of Quilted Mahogany on the back.
The D-35 style three-piece back brings a tight and present bass response while Golden Era-style scalloped X bracing creates a deep, 'open' sounding guitar with tremendous volume. Simply put this guitar needs to be heard to be believed.

Our customer of the day is Ellie Elsayed. Ellie is proud as punch because she's just stepped up to her first full-size guitar. She came in today with her family to see what she liked and this lovely sunburst Yamaha APX500 caught her eye. These guitars are fantastic value for money and we reckon Ellie has nailed it. Thank you Ellie...congratulations!
