Did you live through the 90's? Chances are you owned this record. Clapton's legendary MTV Unplugged album is credited as having a major role in reinvigorating the popularity of the acoustic guitar. In a time when the world was electric guitar and grunge mad, this record came out and sold 26 million copies world wide.

Clapton's choice of guitar for most of the set is a 1939 Martin 000-42. The folks at Martin told us that this record single-handedly turned sales around for them in an instant. No wonder they built him a signature model.
