COLLINGS D2H DREADNOUGHT
The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, we bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. The wide range of woods and neck sizes offered allow dreadnought fans to find a Collings model ideally suited to their playing style and tonal preference. This model comes with the classic Spruce/Rosewood timber combination, Pre-war scalloped bracing, High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, ebony fingerboard with ebony belly-style bridge with mother of pearl diamond and square fingerboard inlays, and Nickel Waverly tuners with 16:1 ratio. This fine instrument comes with a Collings deluxe hardshell case by TKL.
This is how the legendary pre-war Martin 00-18's looked, felt, and most importantly, sounded. Meticulously based on a 1931 model in the famed Martin museum, this guitar is handmade in the custom shop the same as they were back then.
Specs include an Adirondack top & bracing, genuine Mahogany back & sides and Madagascan Rosewood binding.
Martin's vintage tone system (VTS) and hide glue construction throughout gives this model a stunning tone that belies it's small-body stature. An absolute masterpiece, this is the first and only 00-18 Authentic in Australia.

Wow has this been worth the wait. Lowden make acoustic guitars that sound like no other and we think they are the bees knees. This is from the famous original series and is the fantastic Medium sizes 'F' Flatpicking model. The smaller soundbox shape produces more projection and midrange than the 'O' making it perfect for flat pickers, but it has also found it's way into the hands of finger style players, blues guitarists, and others. This guitar has the classic combination of Cedar soundboard, and Walnut back and sides and a Factory fitted LR Baggs Anthem pickup system. A true delight for the eyes and ears. Comes in an English Lowden branded flight case.View full product details
