Dan went with a stained Sinker Mahogany dreadnought with a 3-piece back and a middle wedge of Curly Mahogany. Adirondack Spruce top with Adirondack bracing and hot-hide glue. Forward shifted 'Golden Era' style scalloped bracing, Herringbone trim with aged Ivoroid binding and brushed nickel open geared tuners. No fancy sapwood or bling on this guitar, this baby is all about tone!
