Next thing you know we're in New York City. We came to the Metropolitan Museum to see their history of American music exhibition in which Martin guitars play a big part. Martin invented the steel string guitar, the X bracing pattern, hell they even had a headstock design like Fender 150 years before they did! A big highlight was seeing Clapton's famous 1939 000-42, the very guitar he used for his Unplugged album. This album is often credited for bringing the acoustic guitar back in to vogue. What a thrill it was to see it in the flesh!

Congratulations Jacob...welcome to the Martin club!
