MELBOURNE GUITAR SHOW

Sat Sug 8 & Sun Aug 9. 10am-6pm
With more exhibitors and great guitar players being added to the mix every week, the Melbourne Guitar Show is shaping as one of the best guitar gatherings yet. The AMA has announced the return of the ultimate guitar experience. Presented by australianmusician.com.au, the esteemed Melbourne Guitar Show is set to enthral music lovers, collectors, performers and industry folk at the Caulfield Racecourse on August 8 and 9.

Dedicated solely to the guitar (and other stringed varieties) and its associated technologies and published materials, the exhibition will showcase all the biggest brands in music, plus names and instruments you don’t see every day in your local music store. It will host an impressive range of electric and acoustic guitars, ukuleles and traditional instruments as well as FX and amps.

The show will feature the leaders of the game in home-grown manufacture and craftsmanship with boutique Australian designs from our talented luthiers and specialised amplifier manufacturers, as well as collectors who are assembling vintage masterpieces for sale.

Presented by australianmusician.com.au, the show boasts big-name wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers and organisations, providing exceptional buying opportunities in what will be Melbourne’s biggest pop-upguitar shop open for one weekend only! It will offer punters the opportunity to see, hear and play an extensive range of the world’s favourite brands, and will also provide a platform for guitar retailers to offer unbeatable ‘show deals’.

The Melbourne Guitar Show will also showcase the cream of Australia’s guitar talent and will be armed with an impressive program featuring live performances, educational seminars and G-Shops.

Special early bird pre-sale tickets available now at just $17
Tickets will be $20 at the entry gate on show days

Our customer of the day is Gareth Hughes. Life can be tough as a left-hander. Finding your dream guitar can be difficult when you can't try it first or it only exists as right-handed. Gareth decided to design his dream guitar himself. This is an absolutely stunning left-handed Santa Cruz H-13. It is built from classic Spruce/Mahogany tonewoods, along with some personalised specs such as dark body binding and a gorgeous sunburst. What can we say Gareth? It's a masterpiece. Congratulations!
