Introducing Waterloo Guitars by Collings. The Waterloo guitar line is a look back in time to when there was a genuine need for soulful tone that could be coaxed from simple instruments.

The blues, country, and folk music played on these instruments was made in heartfelt response to the hard times of the depression era. It was music heard in work camps and barn dances, kitchens and honky-tonks, porches, street corners and churches. The Waterloo brand is all about capturing the voice and spirit of the very best depression era guitars in well-made and very playable instruments.

These are the first three Waterloo Guitars in to Australia. They are exquisitely made in Austin, Texas. They look beautiful, are as light as a feather and have a lovely open and responsive tone. In stock!

This original 1969 Martin D-35 is not only an incredible sounding guitar, it is also a fascinating piece of history. 1969 was the year that Martin moved from Brazilian Rosewood to Indian Rosewood and this guitar is living proof of that transition. Built with genuine Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, this rare piece also features a middle wedge of Indian Rosewood on the back.
