A solid AAA grade Sitka Spruce top paired with premium Indian Rosewood back and sides, a beautiful tonewood that offers up an incredibly resonant, deep warm bass whilst still projecting beautiful midrange and clear tops. Maton reserves this king of tone woods for the Messiah models and Custom Shop guitars. The Sitka Spruce top delivers clear, crisp highs with an even balanced tone that has excellent projection and volume. Scalloped internal bracing makes for a light weight responsive top with maximum projection. The traditional dreadnought body size is superb for recording, live performance or any demanding player. Loud, rich, and lush, the Messiah EM100C 12-string is a true acoustic legend. 

The onboard AP5 Pro Pickup System delivers the ultimate live tone, by utilising both a piezo transducer under the bridge and a condenser microphone located inside the soundhole. You can isolate or blend both sources to deliver every nuance of your playing to a live audience. The Messiah comes complete with a custom tour-ready flight case.
