The Wee Lowden is testament to Lowden's ability to make classic sounding acoustic guitars, but also to keep up with the needs of the modern guitarist. More and more guitarists are favouring the convenient size and intimate feel of smaller-bodied acoustic guitars, so Northern Irish luthier George Lowden has responded by designing the Wee Lowden: a small guitar with a big voice.
The top or soundboard is made from Red Cedar, a choice wood for Lowden ensuring complete tonal structure and resonance. The back and sides are made of Solid East Indian rosewood, which gives the guitar a bright, sustaining resonance characteristic of a much larger guitar. Here's what the man himself has to say out them: This actual guitar has been factory fitted with the amazing sounding Highlander IP 1 pickup.
"I have been dreaming about designing a truly ‘small’ guitar for quite a while - but as usual I wanted the sound to be anything but small! The final design focused on voicing the bracing and soundbox geometry so that the voice was even and smooth without the ‘boxiness’ sometimes overly evident in small guitars. Thus the Wee Lowden was born!"
This guitar has the slightest mark on the back and has been reduced for that reason

GODIN A6 ULTRA KOA LIMITED
The A6 Ultra continues with the innovative concepts found in all Godin A-series guitars, such as combining amazing plugged-in acoustic sound with the feel of an electric neck, along with a chambered body design that virtually eliminates feedback in live & loud settings. These features stand true and better than ever in the A6 Ultra with the added "Oomph!" and full tone of a Godin humbucker in the neck position, along with an under-saddle transducer, dual outputs (acoustic and electric) that combine for a huge sound and a Custom Godin preamp section voiced specifically for the A6 Ultra. This preamp section gives a player the chance to control their tone via sliders for acoustic volume, treble, mid, bass and independent controls for the electric humbucker volume, treble and bass. Whether plugging into the single acoustic mix or via both outputs, controlling your tone is at the tip of your fingers. And the A6 Ultra delivers in all styles of music from jazz to rock to country and not to mention a great blues slide guitar. George Lowden has always excelled by not sticking to the American steel-string guitar rule book. To be honest we're not sure we can explain what makes a Lowden sound so different, or so great, but they do. This one is loud if you need it to be due to the excellent choice of Adirondack soundboard, and so easy to play it almost feels like an electric despite the typical light gauge Phosper bronze strings. Whether you're looking for one really great guitar, or looking for another guitar that isn't like the others you have (or have had), this F35 deserves a try-out as the sustain and tone will have you thinking of new things to play and different ways of playing your old favorites.
This might be the most amazing Lowden guitar we have ever had pass through our hands, and even comes loaded with a LR Baggs Anthem Pickup.

Preowned Goodall EGCC Grand Concert Acoustic guitar
The Grand Concert model is a beautifully proportioned shape, and a tone that has a wonderful blend of balanced and clarity, with punchy projection, and a smooth rich bass response. This instrument is larger than the Parlor but smaller than the Concert Jumbo. It has clear trebles, with excellent sustain, and is comfortable to hold. Though it is a small guitar, it does not exhibit the tight nasal tone that is generally associated with smaller guitars.
"This is a great all rounder which would suit most styles"
While the Grand Concert series is considered ideal for the fingerstylist due to its sensitive, dynamic responsiveness, it is equally appropriate for the flatpicker or plectrum player with the appropriate tonewood combination. It is prized by Bluegrass flatpickers and has even been said to surpass large-bodied dreadnought guitars with respect to its clarity, sustain, and powerful projection.
Looking and sounding fantastic with its high grade Sitka Spruce soundboard and Macassar Ebony back and sides, this guitar is a true masterpiece.
Overall condition is very good as this guitar has had very little use and comes in a hard shell case.View full product details
In 1960 Gibson attempted its first “square shoulder” guitar, with a shape similar to Martin’s dreadnoughts. This new model was called the Hummingbird. The original catalogue text describes the guitar’s intended niche: “A fabulous new acoustic guitar—one of the finest ever made for voice accompaniment. The sound is big, and round, and full with the deep rumbly bass so prized by guitar players.”
The shape, size, and X-braced top gave the guitar a rich, warm sound that supported, but didn’t overwhelm, the singer’s voice. To help justify the Hummingbird’s position just below the flashy J-200 on the price list, the guitar was given an ornate, pickguard adorned with a hummingbird hovering near blossoms, vines, and a flitting butterfly. The large, split parallelogram fretboard inlays added undeniable flash.
This 1968 model comes in Gibson's famed cherry sunburst finish. It has recently been re-fretted and features the original adjustable Rosewood saddle. Comes with original hard case.View full product details
