Altamira Sete Cordas Cedar / Rosewood 7-String Classical Guitar

Unlock the captivating sounds of Brazilian guitar music with the Altamira Sete Cordas 7-String Classical Guitar, now available at the Acoustic Centre, your trusted local guitar shop in Melbourne, or through our convenient online guitar store. Inspired by the rich musical heritage of Brazil, this model pays homage to the Russian origins of the instrument and its significant role in Brazilian genres like Choro. With its seven strings, including an additional lower bass string, this guitar opens up a world of harmonic possibilities, inviting musicians to explore the vibrant rhythms and improvisations of Brazilian repertoire.

Designed for versatility and performance, the Sete Cordas features a solid cedar top, Spanish cedar mahogany neck, and solid Indian rosewood back and sides. The hand French-polished finish enhances its visual appeal while allowing the guitar to resonate freely and produce a rich, expressive tone. The ebony fingerboard adds a touch of elegance and ensures smooth playability. With a scale length of 650mm and carefully crafted specifications, this instrument is finely tuned to meet the demands of Brazilian music and beyond.

Included with the Sete Cordas is a high-quality gig bag, providing protection and convenience for musicians on the go. Immerse yourself in the soulful sounds of Brazilian guitar with the Altamira Sete Cordas 7-String Classical Guitar, available exclusively at the Acoustic Centre, your premier destination for classical guitars in Australia.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.

Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain /  colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument. If you have any questions at all regarding an instrument's appearance, just drop us a line - we're always happy to send photos, and if we have more than one instrument in stock you'll be able to choose the exact guitar that you receive!
