David Worthy 'Talisman' Carpathian Spruce / Ebony Acoustic Guitar

Victorian luthier David Worthy has been building exceptional instruments to order for decades, and we're very lucky to be one of the select stores that carry his fantastic guitars. This small-body guitar is his 'Talisman' model, similar to a scaled-down jumbo shape - it's a wonderful, deep-sounding fingerpicking guitar that works especially well in open tunings.

This guitar features a gorgeous Carpathian Spruce soundboard, paired with gloriously-figured Ebony back-and-sides, mahogany neck, Spalted Maple rosette and pitch-black ebony fretboard and bridge.

All Worthy guitars are built by hand near Dandenong, Victoria, and feature a number of custom appointments; hand-scalloped and tuned braces, Carbon Fibre ultra-lightweight reinforced necks, laminated tail blocks and luxurious Gotoh 510 tuning machines. This instrument is a true one-of-a-kind, handcrafted instrument with an airy, balanced tone that is perfect for all styles of music. Comes with hardshell case.

We endeavour to show the actual instrument in stock whenever possible, but the guitar in stock may differ slightly from the one shown on our website. Materials used can look different from guitar to guitar, including timber grain and colour, parts colours and finishing. If an instrument is a one-of-a-kind or preowned guitar, the picture will always be of the actual guitar in stock, but production models may have slight variations to the picture shown.

If you're after a particular look, feel free to email us at info@acousticcentre.com.au or send us a message through our chat service to request photos of the actual guitar in stock. We are more than happy to send through pictures of all in-stock guitars, to make your choice easier.

Please note that returns will not be accepted for variations in timber grain /  colouring, finish variations and parts colouring, unless there is a fault with the instrument. If you have any questions at all regarding an instrument's appearance, just drop us a line - we're always happy to send photos, and if we have more than one instrument in stock you'll be able to choose the exact guitar that you receive!
