With a shape reminiscent of the legendary ES-335 but scaled down to a more manageable size, the ES-339 delivers rich, resonant tone while maintaining excellent playability. Its semi-hollow construction with a center block allows for enhanced sustain and reduced feedback, making it a versatile choice for everything from jazz and blues to rock and beyond.

Crafted at Gibson’s Memphis Custom Shop, this ES-339 features a laminated maple top, back, and sides, paired with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. The result is a balanced tone with smooth midrange and articulate highs. Dual humbucking pickups provide everything from warm cleans to gritty overdrive, controlled by a classic 2-volume/2-tone layout with a 3-way toggle. The ES-339 is ideal for players seeking traditional Gibson tone in a more compact and comfortable format.

This 2012-built guitar is in great condition, with light playwear and pick scratches to the top, and some polishing swirls and heavier scratches on the back of the guitar around the strap buttons. It plays wonderfully, with a slick and buzz-free action, and delivers a tone that blends the woodiness, warmth and richness of a semi-hollowbody with the focus and snap of a solidbody. It’s essentially a more compact, punchier version of the ES-335, with a tighter low end and more immediate attack, making it perfect for players who want that classic Gibson semi-hollow tone in a more manageable size. Includes original hardshell case.
