214ce-special-edition-sunset-blvd-eclipse-burst
Taylor Sunset Blvd 214ce ‘Eclipse Burst’ Grand Auditorium Acoustic Electric Guitar

The Taylor Sunset Blvd 214ce Eclipse Burst is a boldly distinctive limited edition entry built for Taylor’s Guitar Center-exclusive Sunset Blvd collection - a Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric that combines an eye-catching Eclipse Burst finish with genuine tonal upgrades that elevate it meaningfully above the standard 214ce platform. The Eclipse Burst is a deep, dramatic sunburst treatment that darkens richly toward the edges of the torrefied spruce top, creating a visual character that is immediately striking and entirely unique to the Sunset Blvd collection.

The solid torrefied spruce top is the key tonal distinction - thermally aged to replicate the open, warm, and seasoned character of a well-played vintage instrument from the first note, with the additional depth, sweetness, and responsiveness that Taylor’s roasting process uniquely delivers. Layered walnut back and sides provide a balanced, clear, and full-range acoustic foundation, while C-Class bracing dials up volume, sustain, and harmonic accuracy across the Grand Auditorium’s full tonal range. Taylor ES2 behind-the-saddle electronics deliver faithful, natural amplified acoustic tone for live and studio use. 50th Anniversary Diamond fretboard inlays, white binding and matching rosette, satin black tuning machines, black pickguard, and West African Crelicam ebony fretboard complete an appointment package with a dark, cohesive visual identity that suits the Eclipse Burst finish beautifully. Includes Taylor structured gig bag.

Features

Solid torrefied spruce top delivers the open, warm, and seasoned acoustic character of a well-played vintage instrument from the very first note - thermal aging adding depth, sweetness, and responsiveness that a standard spruce top cannot provide.

Eclipse Burst finish exclusive to the Sunset Blvd collection creates a bold, dramatic visual identity - deep, darkening burst tones giving the 214ce a distinctive character unique to this limited collection.

C-Class bracing dials up volume, sustain, and harmonic accuracy across the Grand Auditorium body’s balanced, full-range tonal spectrum.

Taylor ES2 behind-the-saddle electronics deliver faithful, natural amplified acoustic tone suited to live performance and studio recording.

50th Anniversary Diamond fretboard inlays, white binding, matching rosette, West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard, and satin black tuning machines complete a dark, cohesive aesthetic that sets this model apart from the standard 214ce.

Specs

Body: Grand Auditorium, Venetian cutaway

Top: Solid torrefied spruce, gloss, Eclipse Burst

Back & sides: Layered walnut

Bracing: C-Class

Neck: Neo-tropical mahogany

Fingerboard: West African Crelicam ebony

Fingerboard inlays: 50th Anniversary Diamond

Binding: White

Rosette: White (matching)

Pickguard: Black

Bridge: West African Crelicam ebony

Nut: TUSQ, 1-11/16"

Saddle: Micarta

Scale length: 25-1/2"

Tuners: Satin black

Electronics: Taylor ES2

Includes: Taylor structured gig bag

Series: Sunset Blvd (Guitar Center exclusive)

Made in: Mexico

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0367/8045/files/eclipse_20fcd6e8-e7c5-4bb2-9884-350c6f71e770.png?v=1792376275
