Maton has produced a number of excellent celebratory guitars recently, particularly the 70th anniversary models and the Vera May centenary model, so they wanted this one to really stand out (by the way Vera just celebrated her 101st birthday and is still going strong…).
Maton are also entering into a new and exciting era in their history as another group of Maton luthiers enter their second decade of guitar making. These talented young craftspeople are adding to the work of the older, more experienced hands to consistently create instruments that are the best Maton has ever produced, and the world is taking note!
In recent years we have explored new shapes, materials, and specifications through research and development in conjunction with the Maton Custom Shop and the passion and drive of Custom Shop luthier, Andy Allen. Many of the recent production models have benefitted from that work. They wanted this 75th Anniversary model to showcase all of this work.
Acoustic Centre offers free Australia-wide express shipping on all accessory orders (excluding bulky items including amplifiers and cases) over $50, and free express shipping with courier tracking on all instruments, amplifiers and cases over $599.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery. Deliveries to most major capital cities are usually within 2 - 4 business days, and regional areas and WA deliveries are usually within 8 working days. This can change at busier periods for our delivery providers, and is shown as a guide only.
