This is the new Allan Bull 'Evo' model. Big sound, great tone and sustain in a new, innovative package. The look is unconventional but the sound is all classical guitar.
This guitar has a shorter 640mm scale and a smaller body than its more traditional big brother, but it loses nothing in terms of volume, sound quality and sustain. The 10mm reduction in scale length and reduced body dimensions improves playability, particularly for those whom smaller stature or hand span can cause comfort issues with a standard size 650mm scale guitar .
The split, forward sound hole design, together with the player's port and asymmetric bracing combine to achieve a balanced sound with strong bass, generous mid-range and rounded focused trebles. The "through-the-soundboard" string anchorage eliminates the need for a conventional bridge and reduces soundboard weight for improved efficiency.
The guitar has a light-weight Engelmann spruce soundboard and highly figured tiger myrtle back and sides with armrest bevel. The back is brace-less. A removable tail hatch allows access for string fitment. This guitar is a true work of art from one of Australia's best Instrument builders. Comes in a Hiscox flight case.
Maton Custom Shop CS Classic Acoustic electric Guitar
The CS Classic is Andy Allens Custom Shop take on an Acoustic Guitar Standard. The 000 or OM (Orchestra Model) body shape has been an icon for all acoustic guitar makers for decades now. Utilising the timbers that are most recognised in the style, he developed The CS Classic with a mix of AAA Grade European Spruce and Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. After extensive testing tonally and geometrically Andy settled upon a forward shifted X brace pattern to bring the rich bottom end from the guitar whilst maintaining an earthy mid-range and that classic Maton Glassy top register. It is not only the balance of tonality that he is proud of, but the projection, clarity, and volume that this shape captures so well. It truly is a classic shape.
Andy now realised after prototyping, researching, and developing, why so many incredible guitar players choose this amazing guitar to help realise their voice.
"It is not just the comfort of this shape for hours of practice and performance but the ability to pick, strum and play fingerstyle on this shape means it becomes part of who you are as a musician".

Larrivee's Traditional Series was conceived with two things in mind. Create an instrument with traditional 'vintage' features like a flat-top headstock, hand-carved volute, and diamond inlays. But at the same time maintaining the unique tonal balance of the standard Larrivée symmetrical parabolic bracing system. An enlarged soundhole allows significantly greater mid range punch, emphasizing the low end, and increasing overall volume. This 60 Series features Brazilian Rosewood, herringbone trim, traditional angled bone nut. The casted bronze open-back tuners feature engraved design work by Wendy Larrivée. One of the many fine details that put this series in a category of their own.
