The Alvarez MD70EBG Acoustic Electric Guitar is a remarkable instrument that combines the power and clarity of a Bluegrass-style dreadnought with modern dynamics and versatile electronics. It is an enhanced version of the popular MD60EBG model, known for its optimal full tone and exceptional playability.

The MD70EBG offers instant response and clear, robust notes. The rosewood construction contributes to the guitar's ability to deliver sonorous bass frequencies and shimmering trebles, resulting in a well-balanced and dynamic tonal profile. The FS6 bracing system and AAA Sitka spruce top work together to provide clarity, separation, and balanced sound across all six strings, ensuring a rewarding playing experience.

In terms of aesthetics, the MD70EBG pays homage to traditional Bluegrass instruments with open gear nickel tuners, classic inlays, a premium tortoiseshell-style pickguard, and a flawless gloss finish. These details add to the guitar's visual appeal and showcase its quality craftsmanship.

Equipped with an onboard LR Baggs VTC Element System, the MD70EBG offers natural and authentic plugged-in tones with ample gain and volume control. This makes it an excellent choice for live performances or recording situations where versatility and amplified sound quality are essential.

The projection and tonal range of the MD70EBG are outstanding, making it hard to put down. Its powerful open voicing and instant response make it an ideal choice for players seeking a traditional dreadnought guitar with exceptional sound quality. The combination of its acoustic excellence and reliable electric capabilities makes the MD70EBG a fantastic instrument at an exceptional price point.

In summary, the Alvarez MD70EBG Acoustic Electric Guitar is a top-tier instrument that delivers the power and clarity desired by Bluegrass enthusiasts. Its rosewood construction, FS6 bracing system, and AAA Sitka spruce top contribute to its exceptional tonal qualities, while the LR Baggs VTC Element System ensures outstanding amplified performance. Whether you're playing acoustically or plugged in, the MD70EBG offers a truly enjoyable playing experience and represents a remarkable value in the world of dreadnought guitars.
