The Collings D2H Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar represents a pinnacle of craftsmanship and tonal excellence. The D2H is characterized by its ability to deliver a robust bass response, making it ideal for vocal accompaniment. It is also favoured by bluegrass flatpickers who need to project their sound alongside louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. It features a classic combination of Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, meticulously crafted with pre-war scalloped bracing, high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and exquisite details.
This 2022-built guitar is a stunning sounding guitar - rich, deep, piano-like and refined, with a slightly scooped midrange and endless headroom. It's the platonic ideal of a rosewood dreadnought, simply as good as it gets. It's in impeccable condition too, and aside from a few light pick scraches on the pickguard, it could pass as a brand new instrument. The action is a perfect medium, suited to any genre you could possibly throw at it. The D2H is a top-tier guitar in every sense, and this is a wonderful example. Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
