The Cort GA-PF CW Bevel Acoustic Electric Guitar combines exquisite craftsmanship and quality materials to deliver a stunning instrument with a clear yet warm tone and superb sustain. With an arm bevel-cut on the body top and an arched Pau Ferro back and sides, this guitar not only sounds great but also features a rich striped look.
The solid Sitka Spruce top is known for its dynamic sensitivity and rich harmonic overtones, making it a popular choice for acoustic guitar tops. It provides a wide tonal range that handles both powerful strumming and delicate fingerpicking with clarity and responsiveness.
The Pau Ferro back and sides offer a clear yet warm tone with superb sustain. Pau Ferro, also known as Bolivian Rosewood or Santos Rosewood, exhibits characteristics of Rosewood, Ebony, and Maple, providing a powerful fundamental sound with subdued overtones. Its higher density and weight contribute to a quick transient attack and a bright tone, emphasizing the treble side of the sonic spectrum.
The GA-PF CW Bevel is equipped with an LR Baggs EAS-VTC pickup and preamp system, which accurately captures the guitar's natural acoustic resonance and delivers a high-quality plugged-in sound for live performances. The L.R. Baggs system features simple Volume and Tone controls, allowing you to shape your amplified sound with ease.
In terms of aesthetics, the guitar features an abalone rosette and a beveled armrest, adding visual appeal and enhanced comfort during long playing sessions.

I bought this guitar online on a Tuesday morning and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived at my place in rural NSW on Friday morning. I chose this model for a few reasons, first, it is constructed from all solid timber, no laminates, so it should age well. Second, it has a small ish body size, I'm not a big bloke and playing a dreadnought is not the most comfortable experience for me, so this is ideal. It is no parlor guitar though, it still has good response across the frequency range and sounds great either finger picking or strumming with a pick. Third, one word, PRICE! At under $800 delivered it was at least half the price of anything comparable, you simply can't beat it for value. I was skeptical of the brand, and was prepared to return it if it did not live up to expectations, but I remain very happy with my purchase. Acoustically it sounds great, nice full sound, a tiny bit thin in the bottom end, but overall very pleasant. This is a gigging guitar for me so I was more interested in how it sounds plugged in. Well, kapow! I was pleasantly surprised again, the L.R. Baggs EAS-VTC pickup is fantastic! Great sound, not quacky, good dynamics and touch response, simple volume and tone dial, enough to get a sound you can use. The only criticisms I would have are 1) No onboard tuner, a bit of an inconvenience but easily remedied, and 2) No case of any kind. A hard case at this price might be a bit much to ask, but a guitar of this value deserves at least a soft case, although I do understand the desire to keep the cost down. Overall, an easy 4.5 out of 5 from me, thanks. Now to find a case that fits . . .
