Gibson manufactured the original Epiphone Frontier in its Kalamazoo factory from 1958 until 1970. Now the FT-110 Frontier is being made in the USA once again and is proudly handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson’s finest acoustic luthiers.
51 years since the last Frontier models left Gibson’s Kalamazoo factory in 1970, Epiphone is putting back the famed six-string back into production in a new run of USA-made Frontiers. This elegant updated offering ishand-crafted by Gibson luthiers in the Kalamazoo factory from where the Frontier heralded, and continues the legacy of the instrument that was originally in production for 12 years between 1958 and 1970.
