With a Diploma of Teaching from TCAE and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Tasmania, Gary combines his educational background with over 40 years of experience as a Master Instrument maker and Craftsman. The Gary Rizzolo SJ Custom 'Bear Claw Sitka Spruce / American Black Walnut' guitar, preowned from 2013, is a testament to master craftsmanship and premium materials. Featuring a stunning Bear Claw Sitka Spruce soundboard, complemented by the rich tones of American Black Walnut back and sides. The attention to detail is evident with Indian Rosewood binding and headstock veneer, ensuring both aesthetic beauty and durability. Equipped with Sperzel locking tuners and a florentine cutaway, this guitar not only looks exquisite but also offers superior playability and tuning stability. The Mi-Si undersaddle active pickup system ensures that the guitar's natural acoustic tone is faithfully amplified.
It's in fantastic condition too, with only minor polishing swirls and a lovely medium action which lends itself beautifully to fingerstyle or light strumming, with a clear, chimey and silky tone with lush overtones and harmonic complexity. Included with the guitar is a Hiscox flight case, providing top-tier protection for this exceptional instrument.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
