Originally an Anniversary model, this 1959-built Gretsch guitar has been painstakingly converted to a 6120 by stripping the original finish, adding TV Jones Ray Butts Filtertron pickups, a pinned Tunomatic Bridge, genuine Bigsby vibrato, Sperzel locking tuners, delrin nut, Gretsch Hot-Rod style wiring harness, 6105 frets, neck, headstock and F-hole binding, and MOP fingerboard and headstock inlays. It's as close to a 59' 6120 as you'll get without the price tag!
This guitar features 1959 - 1961 light trestle bracing and a 2.5” deep body, with an incredible quilted maple top. It's hard to believe that Gretsch covered up such a stunning piece of timber back in 1959! The original finish has been professionally stripped and replaced with a period-correct orange stain and nitrocellulose finish, and the guitar was serviced and set up by renowned Gretsch expert Piers Crocker. It sounds and looks absolutely incredible, with classic 6120 tone and tonnes of vintage vibe. Includes modern Gretsch hardshell case.

Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
