Been looking at mini acoustics for a while and after trying one in a different store I noticed these guys were selling them cheaper so I ordered. Their service was prompt and as with the other guitar I bought from them it shipped immediately and arrived in perfect condition. Would definitely buy from them again!

Love the look, size, sound and general playability of this guitar. It sounds like a very decent guitar, and hasn’t been compromised due to its smaller size. Notably, it doesn’t sound boxy, and the low notes are there too. On playability though, it’s been strung with medium strings which sound good but are virtually impossible to bend. I’ve read elsewhere that extra lights are recommended. The Acoustic Centre were great. Ryan helped me with my selection over the phone. I love this shop and it’s guitars. The staff obviously feel the same way, which shows.

I bought my Mahogany GS Mini in 2012 when they were first released by Taylor. Being an electric guitarist primarily, I was excited about the GS Mini as I find traditional dreadnoughts a bit cumbersome (i.e. MEGA) The GS mini gave me an alternative instrument that was not only portable (It can fit in the overhead bin for most commercial airlines by the way) but was easy to play, dependable, good looking but most importantly sounds awesome! I have used it like crazy in 5 years, on stage and at home. I have chucked it in the back of cars, dropped it, soaked it in sweat and gin and despite the brutality it is always is ready for the task at hand! Despite owning more expensive acoustic guitars, I can genuinely say that the GS Mini is my go to strummer. It hugs the body and is manageable for those with small hands. I have also found it can handle low and alternate tunings very well due its body shape and its focused projection. I only wish they made an all solid gloss version with a better combination microphone/piezo pickup. Quibbles considering the amount of guitar you get for the money. Whatever your level, I am sure that the addition of a GS mini will complement your collection or provide a great starting point. But more importantly like me, provide a constant musical companion. You will not be disappointed....
excellent service, thank you
excellent service, thank you
I bought a Taylor GS Mini 4 years ago. The sound in the shop knocked my socks off! As its basically a Jumbo, just shrunk down, the sound is quite loud for its size. The sound is also full, crisp and clear. I tested quite a few small body acoustics before, and after, finding this one. Each one sounded horrible, no resonance, poor sound etc. I highly recommend this guitar model for anyone, but especially if you desire a small body acoustic. I own the sapele version, soundboard, back and sides. I have played the spruce soundboard version and think its even better, but love the one I have. Only other guitar I own is the one I am building myself and I will keep this GS mini with along with it. 10 stars!
my daughter bought me this guitar for christmas..it is the most beautiful sounding guitar ive owned..i take it with me wherever i roam...this guitar should be in every household...i am in love
