Crafted to meet the exacting standards of this iconic musician, it offers a combination of premium materials, impeccable craftsmanship, and exceptional playability.
At the heart of the GB10SEFM SRR is its exquisite construction, featuring a Spruce top, Flamed Maple back, and Flamed Maple sides. This tonewood combination delivers a rich, resonant tone with a balanced frequency response and superb clarity, making it ideal for jazz and a variety of other musical styles.
The 3-piece Maple neck with a set-in construction ensures stability and sustain, while the comfortable GB neck profile provides a smooth playing experience. The bound Ebony fretboard is adorned with Acrylic and Abalone block inlays, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to the instrument's aesthetic.
With a scale length of 628mm (24.7 inches) and a fingerboard radius of 305mm, the GB10SEFM SRR offers a familiar feel and effortless playability that allows for fluid soloing and intricate chord voicings. The medium frets with Artstar fret edge treatment ensure precise intonation and smooth string bending across all 22 frets.
Equipped with specially designed GB Special pickups in the neck and bridge positions, this guitar delivers a warm, articulate sound with excellent dynamic range and clarity. Whether you're playing smooth jazz lines or bluesy licks, these pickups capture every nuance of your playing style with exceptional fidelity.
The Ebony bridge and Bone nut contribute to the guitar's resonance and sustain, while the standard machine heads ensure reliable tuning stability, allowing you to focus on your performance without worrying about tuning issues.
