The Altamira M01F is a Di Mauro style guitar that features laminate rosewood back and sides, a spruce top, and a mahogany neck. It has the distinctive punchy mids Gypsy Jazz guitars are renowned for, with plenty of bite across its whole register, while the archtop style F-shaped soundholes ooze character.
The subtle binding, offset block inlay fret-markers and satin finish on the neck and body make for a modern sensibility, while the beautiful relic'd tangerine gloss top gives the guitar a vintage charm. It has a 670mm scale length for excellent volume and a comfy 1 3/4" wide neck and cutaway make for ease-of-playing across its entire range.
