Handmade in Melbourne, the Maxey OS59 is a bare-bones rock machine inspired by the late 50's Ozark Supro guitars. However, unlike the short scale Ozarks, it features a well-balanced 25.5" scale Queensland Maple neck, Indian Rosewood fretboard, mahogany body and a killer 'Dakota Red' Nitrocellulose finish.
This custom-built OS59 has three Goldfoil pickups from Creamery in the UK, which have all the character of vintage goldfoils with added volume and reduced noise, and there's a 6-way toggle switch that allows a huge amount of tones! This one has Deluxe Rotomatic Grover tuners, Bigsby B5, TonePros TP6R Tune-o-matic roller bridge and a switchcraft jack. The neck is a comfortable modern D shaped which feels really nice in hand.
This 2015 model is in great condition, with minimal playwear and a slick, low action. It's a fantastic handmade electric guitar at a killer price, and includes a hardshell case.

Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
