I think they also help protect the straight input jack from damage, so very well worth the price, especially as the strap will not come undone and result in damage to the guitar. Also, a very smart addition to the guitar.

Once you get the hang of it, it is a beautiful, indispensable piece of kit. It can be a bit fiddley to adjust, but the 5 or 10 minutes gives you the option of installing strap locks at an angle away from the cable socket. This eliminates the need to attach the strap over the cable socket, which is never the optimal outcome. Try one out, you won’t be disappointed.
