Introduced in 1934, the National Trojan resonator was National's early attempt at a wood-bodied resonator, with birch or basswood bodies built by Harmony Guitars in Chicago married to National hardware, for a princely sum of $35. It features a chunky V-shaped neck, single cone and a 00 body size.
This nearly 90-year-old guitar is just dripping with vintage mojo - check out the patina! Crucially though, it sounds and feels fantastic, with an old-timey, woody and earthy tone that's perfect for fingerstyle or slide. The action is at 6mm at the 12th fret on the low E string, putting it firmly in slide territory, but cowboy chords can still be played easily enough. It appears to be all original, but a small hole has been made in the side of the lower bout for an output jack - any electronics have long since been removed. A vibey and authentic-sounding resonator from the early days of National Guitars. Includes hardshell case.

Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
