Pre-War Guitars was founded with the idea of building a different kind of vintage-inspired guitar - one that has the sound, the feel, and the tone of the great flat tops of the 30's and 40's, with modern build quality, impeccable attention to detail and ultra-realistic relic jobs that really look and feel like the real thing.
The Pre-War Model International Herringbone has the sound and look of a well-loved vintage instrument, but with the price, adjustability, and reliability of a modern guitar. A traditional dreadnought body size featuring Adirondack spruce and Granadillo back-and-sides make for a deep, rich and sophisticated dreadnought with mind-blowing power and headroom. Granadillo looks visually similar to old growth Brazilian, and Pre-War selected Granadillo for it's striking tonal similarites to Brazilian Rosewood. The guitar body features an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and has been subjected to Pre-War’s “Level 3” distress level, giving it the look and feel of a much-loved 'Road Warrior'.
This circa-2020 preowned guitar features all-original factory relicing, with a comfortable, Vintage V neck profile and medium action, and sounds enormous! It's one of the most impressive rosewood dreadnoughts we've come across, with a tone that is absolutely magical and uncanny in it's similarities to the best vintage Martins. A world-class dreadnought that is very rarely seen in Australia. Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
