Handcrafted in Gibson’s celebrated Bozeman facility, this meticulously built acoustic guitar faithfully recreates the legendary late-1930s model that helped define the sound of American music. With its commanding voice, timeless style, and remarkable projection, the SJ-200 Historic Reissue is a standout instrument for professionals and collectors alike.
This historic reissue features a thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top paired with rosewood back and sides, offering a rich tonal spectrum with enhanced articulation and dynamic response. Premium appointments like an ebony fingerboard, scalloped X-bracing, Grover Imperial tuners, and the classic four-bar moustache bridge ensure both high performance and vintage-correct authenticity. A satin nitro finish and vintage sunburst top give it an elegant, played-in feel straight out of the case.
This 2024-built guitar is in almost as-new condition, with only very minor signs of having ever been played! It's an absolute cannon, with a room-filling voice that is thick, lush and authoritative, with incredible depth and harmonic complexity. It looks incredible too, with an ultra-thin finish and vintage-correct appointments. It plays wonderfully with a perfect medium action and a great chunky C neck profile. This model has long been a shop favourite, and this an absolute showstopper of a guitar! Includes original hardshell case.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
