AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Rozawood RD-28 is a masterbuilt tribute to the iconic D-28, handcrafted in the Czech Republic by Roman Zajicek—widely regarded as one of the world’s top five luthiers. This dreadnought features a striking Master Grade bearclaw Alpine spruce top paired with premium Indian rosewood back and sides, producing a powerful, dynamic tone with rich bass, warm mids, and shimmering highs. Zajicek’s custom scalloped bracing enhances responsiveness and projection, making this an ideal instrument for serious players seeking a bold, articulate voice.
The low-profile modified V-neck and ebony fingerboard offer superb playability, while the fine details—wood binding, herringbone purfling, and a traditional black and white rosette—add a refined visual touch. Built with performance in mind, the RD-28 delivers a commanding tonal presence that excels in both solo and ensemble settings. For touring musicians or collectors alike, this preowned example offers boutique craftsmanship and uncompromising sound at a superb value.
This 2009-built guitar is in fantastic condition with only very light playwear, and an incredible figured (and beautifully aged) Bearclaw Alpine spruce top! The RD-28 is Rozawood's take on the classic Martin rosewood dreadnought, with a deep, vintage-inspired tone with massive low end. It's loud, punchy and authoritative, but still balanced with slightly scooped midrange - in short, it's a powerhouse dreadnought with real punch! Includes original hardshell case.
