When the Fender Custom Shop decided to recreate "The Bludgeon," Seymour Duncan was entrusted to replicate the pickups to Joe's exacting standards. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop team meticulously crafted these pickups, capturing the essence of Joe's beloved guitar. The neck humbucker features a rough cast Alnico 2 magnet to replicate the warm PAF sound. The bridge pickup, with its bright response and hot output, perfectly complements the neck humbucker.
Now, you can experience 'The Bludgeon' magic for yourself. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop has made this extraordinary pickup set available to all. The first 250 sets are relic'd using the special Antiquity aging process, giving them a vintage look. Plus, the bottom plates are hand-signed by Joe Bonamassa, Seymour W. Duncan, and Maricela "MJ" Juarez, the Queen of Tone who hand-winds these pickups in our Custom Shop.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
