AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Sire Larry Carlton L7 is a single-cut electric guitar designed to meet the exacting standards of its namesake. This model features a lightweight mahogany body with a maple veneer, offering both resonance and comfort for extended play. The smooth mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard provide excellent playability and responsiveness, catering to a range of styles from jazz to rock to blues. The Sire modern Tune-o-matic bridge and aluminum stop tailpiece deliver superb sustain and tuning stability, ensuring a solid performance every time.
The L7’s Larry Carlton Modern humbuckers are crafted to deliver a classic, versatile tone that aligns with Carlton’s signature sound. The neck pickup offers a creamy, warm tone even when driven hard, while the bridge pickup provides a biting sound without the harshness that some humbuckers can produce. With two volume controls, two tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch, you have ample options to shape your tone. The vintage-inspired brown top hat knobs add a touch of classic style. This pickup combination supports a wide range of tones, from smooth jazz to powerful rock riffs, reflecting Carlton’s diverse playing experience.
The C-shaped mahogany neck on the L7 is designed for comfort and ease of play, with a 24.75-inch scale that facilitates effortless vibrato and string bends. The 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard features medium jumbo frets and rolled edges, enhancing playability. The guitar also includes a tone-enhancing bone nut and a sustain-boosting set-neck joint. The satin finish is smooth and non-slippery, favored by many guitarists for its feel and playability.
