The result is the modernized D-78 dreadnought body shape, featuring advancements in soundboard bracing and material selection. Crafted with AAA Sitka Spruce for the top and AAA Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, this instrument delivers the legendary pre-war dreadnought sound with remarkable clarity, resonance, and responsiveness. Its harmonics are sublime, and the headroom seems endless.
This 2023-built model is in superb condition, with only light playwear around the bottom of the soundhole and pickguard, and a great low, fast action. The sound is classic rosewood dreadnought - fat, lush, rich and full of gorgeous harmonic complexity. Perfect for classic singer-songwriter strumming or bluegrass picking and everything in between. Fenech's guitars have a cult following, and this is a superb example. Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
