It features a body carved out of a single large piece of solid mahogany, unique among Les Paul models. The resulting dark mid-range tone from the body pairs perfectly with its bright-sounding solid Ebony fingerboard. All together, it's the pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship, design and tone. Gibson Custom Shop is proud to revive every last detail of the original "Black Beauty" for this '57 Les Paul Custom Reissue, from the dimensions and contours to the precise inlay patterns to the entire ownership experience.
This 2000-built Les Paul Custom is exceptional - and not just in the way that all LPC's are exceptional! Weighing in at 3.9kg, it's one of the lightest and most resonant LPC's we've ever come across, and it feels and sounds just as good as you would expect. The pickups are the factory-installed Gibson '57 Customs, which have incredible clarity and touch-sensitivity. There's endless classic tones on board here, and it's a guitar you can easily get lost in for hours.
The condition is incredible too, with barely any playwear and very little polishing swirls to the gloss black finish. There's some patina on the gold parts, but it really adds to the classic look of this iconic guitar. If you've been in the market for a truly great Les Paul Custom with 57 spevcs, this is the one. Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
