The Milab VM-44 Classic small diaphragm condenser has a transparent sound that excels on transient rich sources like acoustic guitar, piano or drums. This hand-made small diaphragm condenser capsule is wonderfully transparent and handles fast transients and high-frequency sources with aplomb. It has a beautifully straight frequency curve with a presence peak around 10 KHz, making VM-44 ideal for almost any sound source. It especially shines for for acoustic instruments, which is why Acoustic Centre uses the VM-44 for all of our video demos!
VM-44 is just as home in a studio as on stage and, thanks to its small size, it’s easy to place exactly where you want it without being in the way. The natural sound and discreet appearance have made the VM-44 range very popular among TV studios around the world.
A switchable -12 dB pad ensures high SPL handling, and if cardioid is not the pickup pattern you need, the front is easily unscrewed in a few seconds and can be replaced by an omni or a supercardioid capsule (not included).

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
