Do you ship guitars Australia-wide?

Yes, Acoustic Centre offers free, insured shipping across Australia with every guitar carefully inspected and setup before delivery.

Can I trade in or consign my old guitar?

Yes, we accept trades and consignment sales. Visit our Sell or Trade page for details or contact our team for an appraisal.

Are all guitars professionally set up before delivery?

Absolutely — every guitar is setup and inspected by our in-house technicians before leaving the store.

Acoustic Centre offers two ways to move on a quality instrument: trade it in against your next guitar, or consign it with us and let our team handle the sale. Trade-in

Trade your current guitar towards a new or preowned instrument from our range. Bring it into our South Melbourne showroom for an assessment, or send photos and details through the form below for a preliminary estimate.

Consignment

For quality acoustic and electric guitars with a sale price of $2,500 or more, our consignment service puts your instrument in front of serious buyers. The fee is 25% of the sale price, inclusive of taxes, and covers setup, restringing and servicing, professional photography and listing copy, insured shipping, and all payment and finance fees. You're paid by bank transfer 7 days after the buyer safely receives the guitar. Read how consignment works.

Please note we don't buy guitars outright; we offer trade-in or consignment depending on the instrument.
