Dreadnought and Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitars

The dreadnought is the most popular acoustic guitar body shape ever made, prized for its powerful low end and strong projection, making it a favourite for strumming, flatpicking and full-band settings. The grand auditorium shares a similar footprint with a slightly more balanced, versatile voice across the frequency range.

Acoustic Centre stocks dreadnought and grand auditorium guitars from Martin, Taylor, Maton, Gibson, Cole Clark and more, spanning entry-level instruments through to premium and preowned models. Our Melbourne guitar shop team can help you find the right body shape and tonewood pairing for your playing style.
