Jumbo Acoustic Guitars

Jumbo guitars are the largest common acoustic body shape, delivering deep bass response and huge volume that suits strummers and players who want maximum projection without amplification. The rounded shoulders and wide waist, popularised by models like the Gibson SJ-200, give jumbos a distinctive booming low end.

Acoustic Centre stocks jumbo acoustic guitars from Gibson, Taylor, Guild, Sigma and Maton. Our Melbourne guitar shop team can help you decide if a jumbo's bigger voice suits your playing style, or whether a smaller body would serve you better.
