AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Taylor 224ce-K DLX Koa combines stunning aesthetics with exceptional playability, offering players a Grand Auditorium that’s as beautiful as it is versatile. A solid Hawaiian koa top paired with layered koa back and sides produces a focused, punchy tone that smooths out aggressive attacks—making it an ideal companion for both fingerstyle finesse and dynamic strumming. The gloss finish and shaded edgeburst highlight the koa’s rich grain, giving this guitar a refined, vintage-inspired look.
Taylor’s signature ES2 electronics ensure a faithful amplified tone, while the Venetian cutaway provides easy access to upper frets for expressive lead work. Refined appointments like a faux pearl fishbone rosette, Italian acrylic diamond inlays, and black binding add a touch of class. Whether you're gigging, recording, or enjoying a solo session at home, the 224ce-K DLX delivers inspiring tone and feel in a professional-grade package.

The guys were awesome helping me choose / short-list the guitar I wanted and gave me all the space I needed to play and think. Suoer competitive pricing and the shop has the best range of any shop I've been to. I will definitely purchase from them again.
The service when I ordered this guitar was fantastic. Placed the order and had the guitar 24 hours later which is great at the best of times but given the impact COVID has had, all the better. The guitar itself exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love it, both the tone and the action. I would have no hesitation is using the Accoustic Centre again or in recommending them to any prospective buyers.
I bought this guitar towards the end of 2018 and instantly fell in love with it. The tone and the resonance is just amazing. The build quality is outstanding and it’s a real pleasure to play. Buy one and you won’t be disappointed, I promise you!
I've been looking for a second gigging guitar to accompany my Cole Clark Angel 3 Redwood, and had been considering a Taylor guitar, but they always seemed just a tad too expensive for a guitar that I'd be lugging around in the back of my car and at times leaving on stage on a guitar stand. Once of the nicest Taylors that I'd played was an all Koa beauty that the Acoustic Centre had in earlier this year, so when I saw them advertise this Taylor 224VE-K DLX Koa at a very reasonable price, I headed into store at my earliest opportunity. The guitar was exactly what I was looking for, so I bought it on the spot. Visually, the guitar is stunning. The subtle burst finish over the gloriously figured Koa is a sight to behold. The high gloss body should hold up to the rigors of gigging. The koa neck has a matt finish to aid playability. The guitar is very comfortable to play, and the sound is sublime. It sounds bang on with finger picking or with a plectrum, with rich bass notes and chiming trebles. Koa gets a lot of attention for its visual appeal, but it deserves its glowing reputation as a superb tonewood. The build quality is very high, as you'd expect from a Taylor. The Taylor case that the guitar came with is exceptionally high quality.
