Protect your precious acoustic instrument with Boveda’s Directional Humidity Control Starter Kit! Keeping your acoustic instrument well-humidified is of paramount importance to prevent against cracks, wood shrinkage, and other long-term damage. Containing one standard Boveda packet, the Directional Humidity Control Starter Kit’s thick vegan leatherette top shield drives airflow straight into your instrument’s body, constantly maintaining humidity at the optimum level between 45% and 55%. While we carry quite a few humidification systems, we find that the directional nature of this kit makes it an excellent choice for musicians who prefer to keep their instruments outside the case, always at the ready for impromptu music making!

Boveda Directional Humidity Control Starter Kit Features:

  • Kit includes 1 x 49% RH Size 70 packet and 1 x directional fabric holder
  • Positions over your instruments sound hole, bridge, neck joint, or any other area you wish to humidify
  • Directional fabric holder features a thick vegan leatherette construction that drives airflow towards your instrument’s body
  • Ideal for musicians who prefer to keep their instrument out in the open
  • Maintains your instruments humidity between 45–55% to prevent cracks, wood shrinkage, and other long-term damage

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.

Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).

Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.

All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.

The Acoustic Centre ships goods Australia-wide, however at this time we are unable to accept international orders.
