The Fender ’97 Collector’s Edition Stratocaster celebrates classic early-’60s Strat styling with a deluxe twist. Built in the USA and produced in a limited run of 1,997 instruments, it pairs an ash body and gloss 3-color sunburst finish with vintage-style hardware and appointments for a truly timeless look and feel. Under the hood, a trio of Texas Special single-coils delivers that unmistakable Fender spank, with extra midrange punch and presence that cuts beautifully in a mix.
With its comfortable maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and 21 vintage-style frets, this Strat feels instantly familiar to anyone who loves traditional S-style guitars. A 6-screw tremolo bridge offers classic Strat vibrato response, while the SSS pickup layout and 5-way selector give you all the expected glassy neck tones, scooped “in-between” sounds, and biting bridge sparkle. This 1997-built guitar is in great condition, with minimal playwear and a couple of very small dings. It's got a great feel, with a loud and rich unplugged tone that translates beautifully when plugged-in. It's wonderfully playable too, and delivers classic 60's Strat tones in spades! Includes original hardshell case.

Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
