The Fenech Master Built D78 is crafted for players seeking powerful, nuanced tone wrapped in boutique-level refinement. Hand-built by Aaron Fenech using only master-grade tonewoods, the D78 delivers a commanding voice with impressive dynamic range. The pairing of Lutz spruce and Pao Ferro produces rich harmonic detail, deep low-end presence, and sparkling clarity, making this dreadnought a standout for flatpickers, singer-songwriters, and studio players alike.
Every element reflects Fenech’s no-compromise philosophy — from the one-piece neck and ebony appointments to the meticulously voiced internal bracing that allows the top to resonate with extraordinary responsiveness. Premium hardware, ornate custom inlays, and the Fenech A1G pickup round out a guitar designed to impress onstage and off. This is a master-built instrument with exceptional projection, sustain, and musicality.
This 2021-built guitar is in great condition, aside from a few dings on the lower bout of the soundboard and some small gouges on the bridge where a tool must have been used to remove a bridge pin. The playability is superb with a slinky, buzz-free action, and the tone is balanced, wood and clear with excellent sustain. The Pau Ferro back-and-sides gives it a tone somewhere between rosewood and mahogany with a great scooped midrange that would make it an ideal choice as a songwriters companion! Includes original hardshell case.

Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Used instruments fall outside of our usual shipping policy, and shipping to most addresses will be $69 - $99, as shown at checkout.
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
