The Yamaha APX600 'Natural' brings legendary stage-ready performance to a comfortable, slim-body acoustic-electric guitar. Originally developed in the 1980s to help electric players transition smoothly to acoustic on stage, the APX series has become a staple for live performers. With its sleek cutaway design, easy playability, and dependable amplified tone, the APX600 continues to deliver everything modern musicians need.
Equipped with a unique under-saddle piezo pickup and Yamaha’s System65 preamp, the APX600 provides a clear, natural acoustic sound with excellent feedback control. The deeper body design boosts low-end response, while the updated non-scalloped bracing ensures improved resonance and dynamic range. With a shorter 634mm scale and narrower string spacing, chord stretches and melodic runs feel effortless. Finished in a natural gloss, this guitar looks just as refined as it sounds.
