This exceptional Santa Cruz 00 Skye, also known as the Eric Skye Signature model features an Adirondack Spruce top paired with Cocobolo back and sides, adorned with herringbone purfling and a 14th fret inlay, all complemented by its unique 24.9" scale length. We're huge fans of the Eric Skye model for its understated elegance, reminiscent of early 1930s Martin 00 guitars. With a wider 1 13/16" nut width, it pays homage to traditional fingerpicking and flatpicking styles, making it an excellent choice for players seeking a classic sound. The sound is robust and balanced, offering sumptuous overtone content and exceptional clarity. The 00 Skye boasts a 12-fret neck for added warmth and a 24.9” scale length for rich, resonant trebles.
This 2022-built guitar is easily up there with the greatest 00-Skye models that we've had the pleasure of playing. The Adirondack top has gorgeous cross-grain figuring, and the Cocobolo is vibrant and striking with stunning grain patterns. The sound is wonderful, with a balanced but lush tone that is heaven for fingerpickers, and it's set up with a perfect medium-low action. The 00-Skye is a modern classic, and this is an incredible example! Includes original hardshell case.
Acoustic Centre offers free shipping on all new items to most locations within Australia on all orders over $99, excluding Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland. Used items have a flat rate shipping fee of $59 within our usual shipping locations. We also offer competitive Express shipping options at checkout.
Customers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Far North Queensland recieve free shipping on all accessory orders over $99, but will incur a flat rate instrument or large item shipping charge of $179 (or $299 for Express shipping).
Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free postage. We reserve the right to retract the offer if freight costs exceed 15% of your purchase. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund or arrange alternative delivery options.
All strings and accessories will be shipped with tracking via courier or Australia Post. Other items including guitars and amplification equipment will be shipped using our courier service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery.
