Allan Bull Concert CLG823 'Blonde Cedar / Tiger Myrtle' Classical Guitar

Allan Bull is a Tasmanian luthier renowned for crafting some of the most exceptional classical guitars being built today. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Allan Bull painstakingly selects rare, visually captivating timber to create instruments that are nothing short of masterpieces.

Hailing from Tasmania, Australia, Allan Bull's classical guitars embody the distinctive characteristics of Australian-style guitars. These instruments are characterized by their robust bodies, arched backs, and exceptionally thin tops. However, Allan Bull's guitars also feature unique innovations that elevate them to a league of their own. These innovations result in increased string separation, a powerful and expansive voice, and a tone reminiscent of spruce.

Our latest masterpiece from Allan Bull is the exquisite Concert model, showcasing a flawless Blonde Cedar top paired with stunning Tiger Myrtle for the back and sides. The lightweight soundboard, with its asymmetrical grid bracing, offers responsiveness and uniform support across the entire range of the guitar while maintaining high structural integrity. The back and sides are not only reinforced but also feature an arched design without traditional braces.

To ensure ease of playability, the slim neck is expertly profiled, and a neck block/cradle extends to the first transverse brace, ensuring the neck joint's rigidity. The elevated fretboard above the soundboard provides improved access to the frets beyond the body join.

In a commitment to precision, each string's length is individually compensated at both the nut and saddle, ensuring accurate intonation across all strings and scale points. The addition of an armrest removes the damping effect of the forearm on the soundboard while enhancing player comfort.

This guitar is undeniably a true work of art, a testament to the craftsmanship of one of Australia's finest instrument builders. It arrives securely encased in a Visesnut Active Series flight case, providing the utmost protection for your treasured instrument.
