AUSTRALIA'S #1 ACOUSTIC GUITAR SPECIALIST
The Cole Clark 'Angel' AN2EC Blackwood/Blackwood Acoustic Electric Guitar is a refined, performance-ready instrument that blends premium tonewoods with modern design and electronics. With a Grand Auditorium body shape and a cutaway for upper fret access, this all-solid timber guitar features a stunning Australian Blackwood top, back, and sides for a rich, balanced tone with exceptional resonance. The neck is crafted from Queensland Maple and topped with a River She Oak fingerboard, offering smooth playability and tonal clarity.
Equipped with Cole Clark’s renowned 3-way pickup system, the AN2EC captures the natural acoustic sound with incredible fidelity, making it ideal for both stage and studio use. Aesthetically, the guitar boasts elegant details such as abalone snowflake fretboard inlays, timber binding and purfling, and a satin nitrocellulose finish that enhances the wood’s natural grain. Complete with Grover machine heads, a Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle, and a Cole Clark tweed hardcase, this guitar is as reliable as it is visually stunning.

All of our Cole Clarks have been PLEKed!
PLEK machines are built and sold by A+D Gitarrentechnologie of Berlin, Germany. The machines were developed by musician and guitar instructor Gerd Anke with his partner Michael Dubach, who called their company PLEKTRON when it was founded in 1990. The goal of the PLEK process they created is to guarantee the best possible string action for each instrument. Simply put, a guitar with optimized playability sounds better. The strings do not strike the frets during playing and any intonation problems that may occur due to too-low string action are eliminated. Similarly, action that’s too high is also a thing of the past with PLEKing.
The PLEKing process is done by CNC (computer numerical control) machines, which use microprocessors to perform their tasks. That doesn’t mean human craftspeople are excluded from this process. The PLEK machine is ultimately a tool to reduce variances between guitars, which allows Cole Clarks expert builders to do their jobs more efficiently.
