The Collings 470 JL Julian Lage Signature is a bold reimagining of the hollow-body electric guitar, developed with jazz virtuoso Julian Lage. A fully hollow Honduran mahogany body with a trestle block design and laminated maple top delivers a dynamic, nuanced tone suited to players who want responsiveness and clarity. Built to Julian's exacting preferences, it features a shorter 24 7/8" scale, a comfortable 12" radius ebony fingerboard and a lightweight build that encourages fluid, expressive playing.

A pair of Ron Ellis Ellisonic pickups, custom-voiced for versatility, pair with DiMarzio 500K pots and Jupiter Vintage Yellow capacitors for a refined signal path. A Bigsby B3 vibrato, relic nickel Waverly tuners and an aged Antiqued Black nitrocellulose finish round out its vintage-modern aesthetic. It's ideal for serious players on stage or in the studio who want an expressive, signature-voice hollow-body with real jazz pedigree.
